Courtney Putz offers showing opportunities for all students ready to enter the show ring. She attends shows as well as events on a regular basis and bring students ready for this environment. Additionally, she leads the John Champe IEA team for middle and high school students. This is a great opportunity for students to ride a variety of horses at different venues in the Northern Virginia area.
Courtney has numerous school horses and ponies available for students to show. Having well schooled horses is the key to success for any show team as this allows riders to focus on their skills with confidence of knowing their equine partner will cooperate. Courtney's horses / ponies have a proven track record of packing around the most timid of riders as well as more skilled equestrians. The IEA team is a great opportunity for students to get involved in showing as well as working within a team environment. Members of the IEA team are extremely supportive of one another and lasting friendships are formed as a result. Additionally, participation on an IEA team is great preparation for riding on college teams.
