Lessons are offered at Hunts End Stables by head trainer Courtney Putz who has been riding/ training horses since early childhood. Lessons are available for children as young as seven, as well as adults looking to share their love for horses.

Courtney Putz offers showing opportunities for all students ready to enter the show ring. She attends shows as well as events on a regular basis and bring students ready for this environment. Additionally, she leads the John Champe IEA team for middle and high school students. This is a great opportunity for students to ride a variety of horses at different venues in the Northern Virginia area.

Courtney Putz leads all training activities at Hunts End Stables. She has been working with horses on a daily basis since early childhood and specializes in preparing young horses for the eventing community.  She instills a strong foundation of ground work in young horses and has successfully broken multiple youngsters that became mounts for children / amateurs.

Hunts End Stables is proud to offer boarding/ training packages in Catharpin, VA. Board includes a 12 x 12 matted stall, daily/ nightly turn-out, premium feed selections, access to hay at all times, one training ride or lesson weekly and supportive environment to pursue your riding goals.  Hunts End Stables specializes in eventing, but caters to riders in the hunter/ jumper and dressage disciplines as well.
